2 Corinthians 1:4-6
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

Today is a bitter sweet day....a day of many blessings along with sadness in my heart with the death of  my  good friend, Julia..a loving, compassionate lady.  I have thought alot about her life and our friendship.  We don't realize how our life can affect someone else so much..until they are gone.

This scripture comes to mind reminding me of the comfort that God gave  me so many times through my own life. God comforts us when we can only see darkness, and the days that we do not understand all the "Why's?". When your body may be wracked with pain.

Jesus is there in the midst of your pain...to the deepest depths..He hears our cries.  He carries us in the palm of His hands..never to let go of us. He brought me out of a time of darkness that I didn't know I would ever feel again.   Jesus was there for me..when I couldn't think, I couldn't feel...times I was angry..even at Him....Yes, even at Him...He understands where you and I are in our depth of pain...we must come to a place of trust...for we cannot walk through without the Lord by our side.

This scripture..is a promise to you and I..that God will comfort you and I when we are in the depths of our suffering...and  when see someone is suffering a loss in their family, or a sickness that someone may be going through... whatever the reason that someone may be suffering...because of what you may have come through yourself...it unctions great compassion for others and brings remembrance of how God brought you through your trial.

God receives all the glory..because it is nothing that you and I can do on our own...we need Jesus...we need His love, His strength, His wisdom, His understanding to walk through this life we live here on this earth.
Will you allow Jesus to help you walk through your pain today?  He will bring you through it....and you will be able to have compassion for others that are suffering ...are trials molds us and shapes us..builds our compassion, love, mercy, and wisdom....if we will trust Him to lead us!

There is one thing I can never forget that a Pastor would say...If you cannot see Him, or you cannot feel Him....Trust His heart!

May you be willing to reach to those around you and have compassion, and mercy and love...to help them walk through the valleys that you have already overcome.

May God Richly Bless You

II Corinthians 4:8-10

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body

In this lifetime we will undergo some major crisis in our lives....maybe even more than others in some aspects.   Why?  Because we live on this Earth and we deal with people and their problems. And many feel the magnitude of suffering by the hands of others.  We deal with humanity...the good, the bad, and the ugly.
As Christians, when we came to God and began walking in a new life we can become so naive in thinking that we won't have to deal with problems...and everything will be perfect.   It is so far from the truth.  God never promised us this...but He promised He would be with us and help us through.  To believe upon Him and trust Him.

This Too Shall Pass Away
by Lanta Wilson Smith
When some great sorrow, like a mighty river,
Flows through your life with peace-destroying power,
And dearest things are swept from sight forever,
Say to your heart each trying hour:
"This, too, shall pass away."
When ceaseless toil has hushed your song of gladness,
And you have grown almost too tired to pray,
Let this truth banish from your heart its sadness,
And ease the burdens of each trying day:
"This, too, shall pass away"

You will face many challenges living for God...you must understand that we have an enemy that is out going to and fro across the Earth seeking whom he may devour.  If you are a Christian, the enemy does not like it. It is his goal to destroy your soul.  To cause you to believe his lies, to follow after him.
One of the greatest men of God that wrote the majority of the New Testament went through many challenges because he preached the Word of God.  Nothing could stop Paul...he was a man on a mission..Paul had an experience with God..He believed in who He was... God called Paul..met him on the road to Damascus....he was on his way to punish and capture the christians in which he thought were wrong...they were teaching lies...causing chaos...Until He met the Lord on the road...his life changed...He found out how wrong he was....it was then that his name was changed from Saul into Paul... his life would forever be changed...and now his life would be in the hands of those that believed as he did.....Paul did not allow anything that came at him to deter him....He had a zealous, He had a made up mind...a very passionate man of God.
You can see what Paul walked through in order to reach the world...and preach the Name of Jesus, as Savior, as Lord of all.

2 Corinthians 11:24-33
He was whipped 5 different times 39 stripes
He was beaten with rods 3different times
He was stoned and lived
He was in 3 shipwreck in the sea...in the water a night and a day
He speaks of in perils of waters
In perils of robbers
In perils by the heathen,
In perils in the city
In perils in the wilderness
In perils in the sea,
In perils among false brethren
In weariness and painfulness
In watchings,
In hunger and thirst
In fastings
In cold and nakedness
Besides all these things, Paul says all things which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches
In Damascus the governor tried to capture Paul..but was able to flee and escaped the hands of the garrison in capturing him

One thing to know is that no matter what you will deal with in your walk with the Lord...stand strong and trust the Lord...for He is with you...He will fight for you...He will be your strength, your comfort, and provide your need!

Will you trust in His love and mercy for you and your life?  One day you may have to answer this question when you face a trial....just remember Paul...God received the glory for Paul's life...can we give God the glory for our life?

Promises For Today

2 Peter 1:4-8
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith, virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

One thing I love about Peter is that he is an exhorter...in vs 10-11 he encourages us to be diligent in our calling for if we do ..we will never fall.  That we will have a place in the kingdom of God. In vs 12 he tells us that he will not be negligent to encourage and remind us even when we know them. in vs 13 that he felt it was important to stir us up by causing us to remember.

Peters desire that even after he was deceased that we will remember what we are called to do...and that is to preach the truth, to love and encourage those around us in the truth.    We must remember where God brought us from and what message did we receive when we first came in.

WE AS A CHURCH MUST TAKE PETER'S EXAMPLE AND KEEP REMINDING...KEEP PREACHING...KEEP ENCOURAGING....UNTIL JESUS COMES...WE MUST BE DILIGENT TO OUR CALLING!

We are in this world but we are not of this world if we come into relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ...because our life is changed..we are no longer our own but bought with a price....Jesus paid the price by taking the sins of the world...yours and mine ...so that we could have a promise of Heaven if we chose to let go of the world.

 In this world you find the lusts of life.  A never ending lust for the things that are around us....in which it is an unsatiable desire for the lusts of the flesh, the heart of the world....and this list is long...but necessary to understand what Paul was conveying to the church when he wrote the book of Romans.

Romans 1:21-32
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

This is the heart of the world and we must be careful not to fall into the things of the world..be careful as you minister to others that you are keeping your relationship with God strong..keep your eyes on Jesus.

As long as we have a church in this world..you will have some of this in it....because you have people coming from all realms of upbringing...they come to Christ with the heart of the world and when they give their heart unto God they learn a new walk...a new way of thinking. We must be full of the Holy Spirit and sold out to God.  With all our heart, mind and soul!

 The saddest part of this is when someone comes in and begins to allow their heart to change that they don't completely give their heart, mind and soul to Him...but holds onto some things in the world.  And they will struggle and struggle until they make a choice of whom they will follow...the world or Jesus Christ.  It is our choice...and only you can make it for your own life.

You must ask yourself...In whom will I follow?

Promise For Today
Friday, January 21, 2011
Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

We can look at the world today and the worlds financial situation and all the corruption...you can see all of the calamities that are happening especially with close friends around the world with flooding, earthquakes, disease, hunger...etc.

These things cause great concern to you and I today.  It can weigh heavily on our spirit because of our compassion for others.  We have a God that desires for us to give Him our burdens..the weight on our hearts and minds...we learn that by doing that we can have peace in our hearts in the midst of all the calamities that are around us.

He gives us peace when we lay our fears, our concerns into His hands...because He alone is God.  No matter what may come our way God has His hand upon us.

Isaiah 28:12
To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing.

You may think..but Sherry, you do not know what I am going through...I may and I may not....but you have a God that does know what you are in need of.  And He promises He will never leave you nor forsake you....that He will guide you through. He will keep you as He has kept all His children.  He did not promise that our life would be easy...but we would have trials and things we would have to face.   He promised He would be with us!

There was a very special lady that friends and I would minister to her through the years before she passed away.  This special lady made such an impression on my life.  When I first came into church..we would be singing songs unto the Lord and praying.  Marge would be worshipping her heart out..it was beautiful.  I looked over at this woman and here she was a woman standing up with two prothesis for legs attached around her thighs.   Worshipping God with all her heart.

And I thought to myself..if she can worship God in the midst of all her physical pain and give it all to Jesus...I surely can give Him all that is within me even with my Cerebral Palsy. I can have that same passion, and that same love and trust.  So I sought after it..and I am so thankful to of known her.

Marge had some major battles to come through each day...it was not easy for her.  Each time you would visit her she just gave all the glory to God. She had a favorite scripture that she memorized and would say over and over because she believed in who God was.  Yes, she got discouraged at times...when she did I reminded her of Psalms 91...Gods promise to her.

One day she has such a high fever, and was not in a good state..she was not awake.  We came in and prayed for her...I read Psalm 91 to Marge.  As I was reading it to her she was moving her lips to each word.  In her condition...she heard the Word of God.   He kept His hand upon her and was with her.  He chose to take her soon after that.  I will never forget Sis Marge...she will forever be in my heart with the things I learned from her.

What promises God gave to Marge...He has given to you!   Take time to read and understand what God is saying to you in these verses.
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Jesus, I pray that you will bless each and everyone reading this devotion...may they find peace in the midst of their storm.  That you will help them and guide them through each day.  That they will allow you to take their burdens..all fears...and trust in You.  I pray that they will hear your voice and feel Your presence today....in the midst of all their suffering, discouragement, grief, in whatever state they are in today..and in need of...let Your will be done!
In Jesus Name, Amen!

Promises For Today
Thursday, January 20, 2011
John 15:9-17
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you:  continue ye in my love.
If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in His love.
These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
This is My commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Henceforth I call you not servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give  it to you.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.

What wonderful promises of His love for you and I.  That He chose you and ordained you to go forward in your life to do His work...His calling for you to fulfill your purpose in this life.  He hasn't called you to be a servant unto Him but a friend..to be that close in relationship with Jesus Christ.
In studying the men of the Old Testament...Noah, Abraham, Moses...their faith in God...they knew who He was.  It is vital that we understand who God is.  What His Will is for your life.   To understand how great His love is for you.
By Faith they walked with God..believing in His direction, His love for them, believing in who He was. In Hebrews 11:1 it says: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  These great men of God clearly heard His voice, and the quickly followed what He had asked of them...they had an experience with God.  They saw many mightly things the Lord did..they understood that it was nothing within themselves but only by the power of God.
Noah...Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared and ark to the saving of his house....He followed the commands of God...do I think because He was literally afraid of God?  No, He respected who God was, He gave honor to Him, and obedience because he knew God loved Him and Noah loved God.  Noah began building and after 120 years it was accomplished and fulfilled by God in which He promised....the rain began to fall.   In which it had never rained before this time.  Noah had great faith in God...he did not question but fulfilled all that he was asked to do...and we see today that  promise continues on.  When we see the rainbow in the sky it reminds us of His promise that He will not flood the earth again.
Genesis 9:13  I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.  And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in a cloud:  And I will remember my covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy the Earth.
Today we see horrible devastation in some countries through flooding, and fires...loss of lives and some may wonder what is happening.  This promise of God to us does not say you won't have problems upon this earth...nor that there would not be flooding....but that He would not flood the earth to destroy it.
Our Earth is groaning...many things are changing...the magnetic pole has moved in causing so many animals to die...changes in temperatures all around the world.  Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions are taking place.  We have done much damage to our earth with carelessness....but when you see all these type of things happening...you can know that He has His hand upon you and If you are His child....He will make a way for you.  We are walking in the end times...Jesus is about to come for His church.
I Thessalonians 4:13-18
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
For this we say unto you by the world of the Lord,  that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For when the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
I want to encourage  you to read all of I & II Thessalonians...for you will understand what is to come! And what Gods Will for all of our lives.
Just trust Him, and grow closer in relationship with Him....For He will make a way for you.....no matter what you are going through today...He loves you and is near....carrying you in His hands!
Blessings
Pastor Sherry

Promises For You Today Tuesday, January 18, 2011

Promises For You Today
Mark 12:29-31

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

How can we live according to these commandments in our human fleshly thinking?  The answer is...you can't as long as you are thinking in the flesh...and that you are one that allows your flesh to rule your life instead of the Spirit of God.
We must come to such a hunger for God...that you and I are not satisfied with where we are in our relationship with Him.  Where we want more and more of God each and every day!
How can I love that neighbour, that person that just gets my goat everytime they come near?  I will show you how through the following examples.
I wrote a lesson on Consecration years ago and taught it in our Care group...this lesson will help you to know and to understand what God desires from you and I in relationship with Him.
Gods Relationship With Moses
Exodus 33:12-23
Moses desires to see the glory of God12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

God spoke with Moses face to face as a man speaketh to his friend....that has to be your desire...to be that close to Him...what a wonderful thing that would be!
When Moses entered the Tabernacle the bible says that the cloudy pillar descended down....God met Moses there.
Numbers 12:8
With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold:
Duet 34:10
And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face
Mose was CONSECRATED to God
We must yearn for such a closeness with God, a desire to know more and more each day.  To feel after His presence...to be sold out to the Lord...with a reckless abandon!
Sanctification- means to be separated from sin
- Your heart changes, you no longer desire the world
- Your thinking changes, you no longer think as the world
Consecration- means committment
How do I commit my whole being to the Lord?
* Commit my Mind unto the Lord
Many listen to the enemies lies..allowing the things of the world to direct their minds
*We can control our thoughts if we really would get into the Word of God each day and committing our mind unto Him
 Ephesians 4:17-32
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

II Corinthians 10:4-5
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;
Casting down imaginations, and  every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ
* Commit my heart unto the Lord
Before you can commit yourself in a relationship with someone , you should commit yourself to God first.  What happens is we commit our hearts to people and make them our God..replacing the yearning of our soul for a person.  And that person can only fill a void...your soul will continue to yearn for God..He is the one that created you.
Matthew 12:35-37
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Ephesians 4:21-32
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
*Commit my eyes, ears, mouth, hands and feet unto the Lord (our body)
Psalm 119:105Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path
Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination
What we look at with our eyes, and listen to with our ears, and what we speak will affect your spirit and all those around you.
Music, Movies, Books, Gossip..the counsel of the world ...etc
We want to please God because of His mercies
Romans 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Romans 8:13
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Consecrate your life unto the Lord....draw close to Him...for His desire is to draw nigh unto you!!!

1 Peter 4:12-14
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as through some strange thing happened unto you;
But rejouce, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you; on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified.
Last night my family and I went to a church that was showing a video called "How Big Is Your God"....you cannot walk away from seeing this video without being awestruck in seeing just how big God is!!!
Though some of us has been in the truth of God for many years and we know God is large and He fills every space we are in...we still get  WOWED...by His wonders. He alone created the darkness and light, He alone created every planet, every star, every solar system in our galaxy.
The Earth is as a little golf ball compared to the size of the sun and some of the stars that are millions/billions of light years away.    Yet we see all this wonder...and here we are on this large planet that we are as a little golf ball to the size of it....and when you look at a golf ball..signifying it would be the earth...where are you in it?
We are that small little speck on one of those indented circles of a golf ball...and in being so small to this golf ball of a planet compared to everything else....We read in His Word that He knows the very number of hairs on our head, He knows our every thought and intent in all we do.  He has you and I in the palm of His hand!
Why would we not trust Him in our trials?
